In Brooklyn, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in New York, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

πΏ We absolutely love The Moss & Green Plant Shop! May and her team are truly awesome. Our clients love visiting the shop, and we really appreciate cross-pollinating and supporting one another as small businesses. One of our clients gifted us a staghorn plant from The Moss & Green during our very first week. Itβs mounted in a moss ball baseβno pot neededβand we paired it with a beautiful Japanese plate we purchased from May to display it. A year later, itβs thriving and continues to be a standout piece in our space. If youβre looking for a unique plant, an easy-care setup, or a thoughtful gift that truly elevates a room, we highly recommend The Moss & Green. π±π

Do not recommend this shop. Iβve send multiple messages to their instagram only to be left on seen with no reply for a solution. This kokedama was purchased 2 weeks ago with proper care from the care instruction they gave us and itβs completely dead. Pleaded for some help to salvage it, was told theyβll get back to me and was ignored. **Update: sad to see it takes a review to finally get an unprofessional response. Still no solution but a nasty comment of βyou are the one that killed your plant.β I was ignored and put on seen a total of (3) times. There was no intentions of helping me. Wish the shop practices better customer service in the future!

This store stood out completely from the many plant stores I visited. Although I wasnβt sure what sort of plant I wanted when I began my plant store journey, the moment I stepped in here, I knew it would be (at least) one of the unique Kokedama plants. The customer service was impeccable from the start. She was so patient with me throughout the hour or more I was in the store browsing. When I asked if there were more of a certain plant I was eyeing and there werenβt, she had her team downstairs make me one on the spot. I am so pleased to have stumbled upon this spot and would highly recommend it to anyone!

i came in with a friend to look at some plants for her house. unfortunately, the store clerks were rude to her. so, she left abruptly without buying anything, and i quickly followed. outside of this unfortunate event, however, i did find the store nicely designed. π€·π½ββοΈ
